Honoring the Sacred Window
In-Home Postpartum Care Rooted in Ayurveda
Postpartum care is meant to happen at home, in a space where a new mother can rest, recover, and be nourished. These offerings are designed to bring ancient postpartum support into modern family life with warmth, flexibility, and practical care.
Each package is centered around the unique needs of the mother, baby, and household. We begin by connecting and creating an individualized postpartum plan for your family.
If my schedule is full, I also work with a trusted team of trained graduates who may be available for in-home abhyanga and postpartum support sessions.

Many times, we can work it out to push the start date by 1-3 days if it works with our
schedules. If that isn’t possible, you can use your deposit for a future date or use the
money for a treatment. The pre consultation and cleansing kit will be deducted from the
deposit ($150)
-
I try and open my schedule to figure out another time. If not, we can deduct one day out
of your total payment and you can still have a successful Panchakarma with 1-2 days of
treatments.
-
I will just ask you to postpone doing enemas until your period is over.
-
I ask clients to take a break from supplements and medications if they can during
oleation. Please ask your doctor if it’s ok to take a break for a week while doing
Panchakarma if you are unsure about this. I have worked with hundreds of clients who
have successfully done Panchakarma while under doctor care.
-
Fall or Spring are the best times for Panchakarma but I have found that Winter (Dec and Jan) has also been extremely beneficial for those that feel the effects of cold, dark days and feel run down, dry, and mentally stressed. Summertime is not a time for Panchakarma.
-
Clients are surprised to find how good they feel during oleation. The biggest challenge
is withdrawal effects from eliminating coffee. I tell clients I would rather have them drink
coffee than have a splitting headache everyday.
-
Plan a lighter schedule if possible, plan your food ahead to avoid stress but my recipe booklet is designed to help you have guidance. Rest, journaling and your daily cleansing rituals are important. (That includes dry skin brushing, self-massage, tongue scraping, baths/shower/steam/sauna). Even if your cleanse doesn’t go as you planned (work, kids, commitment is hard to escape from), the internal and external oleation will slow you down naturally.
-
I know it’s a lot to take in. Just remember, when you are at home before the treatments start, it’s all about internal oleation and preparing the body to remove toxins. So taking the ghee is the main focus. If you can’t be perfect with diet and lifestyle, you will still be fine. Also, it’s about not overthinking, it’s about calming the mind through rest, journaling, yoga, meditation, time in nature. Think of this as an opportunity to have a concentrated time to bring in all the wonderful practices and tools that you know make you feel better.
-
Please do. Texting is the fastest way to reach me but email is fine. I will be seeing you 5 days after the start of oleation and you will have daily check ins with me before your treatment.

You’ll receive a customized detox plan, shopping list, menus, and daily guidance for full support.
